This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional company as a Mechanical Engineer located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role you will provide technical assistance to district heating and cooling customers, provide technical support to marketing and sales to prospective customers, communicate and represent customer interests and concerns in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the district heating and cooling systems. You will oversee customer building conversion process in the areas of design and design review, bidding, construction oversight and coordination, and startup/commissioning. Qualifications for this position include a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in analysis, design, testing, and operation of HVAC and energy systems. Supervisory and district energy experience is a plus. P.E. registration is preferred. Must have strong customer service and teamwork skills, broad technical knowledge concerning energy efficiency and design and operation of building heating and cooling (HVAC) systems, the ability to respond to customer problems in a creative and cost effective manner, strong oral and written communication skills, strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
