David Ybarra is President of the Minnesota Pipe Trades Association, an umbrella organization representing more than 9000 men and women working in piping related industries throughout Minnesota, where he serves as an advocate for 11 Local Unions. Previous to his current position, Ybarra was Business Manager of the Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council, which allowed him the opportunity to work on many successful construction projects, including TCF Bank Stadium, Target Field, and the reconstruction of the 35W Bridge. He was appointed to serve as a commissioner at Target Field in June, 2016, and continues in that capacity. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors at Union Bank and Trust. In his leisure time, Ybarra enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
