The US Department of Labor has awarded Ever-Green Energy the HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award for the fifth consecutive year. This award is the only federal-level veterans employment award recognizing a company’s or organization’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and development.

Recipients of this award meet high standards of employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, such as veteran hiring and retention percentages. Over 25% of Ever-Green’s workforce are veterans.

The HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award is earned by businesses that demonstrate unparalleled commitment to attracting, hiring, and retaining veterans. There are different awards based on the size of organizations, as well as two award tiers: platinum and gold. This year, Ever-Green was just one of 223 employers nation-wide in the medium-employer (51-499 employees) category who were awarded the Gold medallion.
