In 2021, Ever-Green Energy’s Board of Director’s Governance Committee took on a new identity as the Governance and Social Responsibility Committee. This action was an important step for the company as it expanded the committee’s purview to comprehensively encompass company values that align with its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts.

Following this evolution, the Governance and Social Responsibility Committee approved and adopted the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance Policy as the foundation for future company actions. The policy delineated Ever-Green Energy’s commitment to the staunch integration of ESG principles in current and future operations.

Board adoption was consequential as it explicitly signified the company’s commitment to acting as a mission-driven organization while aiming to promote utility system transformation and leadership through respectful and compassionate customer and community engagement. In this effort, the policy simultaneously prioritizes a culture of wellness and safety, from workplaces and businesses, to homes and communities served, while also acting as stewards to the environment and its resources.
