Ever-Green Energy worked with the College of Saint Benedict as part of our Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality program, which helps higher education institutions accelerate their efforts to achieve carbon neutrality. The program provides schools with pro bono planning services to evaluate campus energy efficiency and pathways to reduce Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions.

Ever-Green began its partnership with the College of Saint Benedict in 2019, working toward meeting the college’s goal of achieving a carbon-free campus.
Ever-Green worked with campus staff to gather data on the existing buildings’ generation assets, building mechanical systems, square footage, and occupancy. Ever-Green also evaluated the existing energy systems for opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
The College of Saint Benedict has gained national recognition for its programming in international education and the fine arts. In addition to its emphasis on gender education, the college also is known for its strengths in environmental studies and service learning. In total, these programs and commitments reflect the college’s Benedictine heritage and its strong commitment to the liberal arts.
